The goal of pitching is to get people interested in your podcast or podcast idea, be they production houses, podcast networks, other podcasters for cross-promotion, festivals, etc. You’ll need more than one pitch since you will be talking about your podcast to different people with different ideas and priorities. Yes, you need to be able to explain your show in an elevator pitch of no more than 30 seconds, but within that window you need to highlight different strengths depending on who you are talking to.
